Over the last couple of weeks the centre squads played Rotherham United and Scunthorpe play, the results and performances were mixed.

Rotherham is always difficult opponents, the Rotherham fixtures are always a good test for all our players. Scunthorpe are also a good test for the centre players because they are very big and strong throughout the age groups. The under 13s played particularly well against Scunthorpe, this squads performances over the season have been up and down. It's all about been consistent, if this team can achieve this they  will do well as a squad.

The majority of the squads performed well against Scunthorpe and both sets of teams played some very good football. Even when one team was up a goal the other team still tried to play the game in the right way and that was to keep the ball on the ground.
