Fifteen year old Sam is a member of Chesterfield FC's renowned Centre of Excellence at Under 16 level and attended a Welsh development soccer camp last season.

He has been called-up for the Welsh Under 17 squad for the Internationals, which will be played at two venues in Wales.

The first game is at the Remax Stadium, Port Talbot on Monday 27 August and the second at Stebonheath Park, Llanelli on Wednesday 29 August.

Centre of Excellence manager Mark Jules said: "We congratulate Sam because it is an achievement for any footballer to be recognised by his country at whatever level."
