On-loan winger Micah Evans has been allowed to return to his parent club, Blackburn Rovers, ahead of schedule.
Evans was signed on loan from Blackburn at the end of September and had been due to stay until January, but manager Paul Cook has decided to let him go back to Ewood Park with immediate effect.
Cook said: “I’d like to thank Micah for coming to the club and getting some first-team experience. Due to the lack of opportunities for him, we feel it’s beneficial for the lad’s career for him to go back to Blackburn.”
The 19-year-old, who had been due to stay until January, made his debut as a substitute in the home game against Torquay.
Evans made two starts and three appearances as a substitute during his time at the Proact Stadium.
