First Time Visitors

If you are visiting the SMH Group Stadium for the first time, here are a few details to make your visit run smoothly.

The SMH Group Stadium is a 10,000 all-seater stadium which opened July 2010. It is situated on the outskirts of the town at Whittington Moor. The postcode is S41 (8NZ for older satellite navigation systems, please use S41 8LF).

For full travel directions for the SMH Group Stadium please click here.

Car parking at the stadium is for permit holders only. There is limited street parking available nearby on matchday.

However, disabled supporters can buy car parking bays at the SMH Group Stadium by phoning during the week before the match. Spaces cost £7 each (subject to availability) and can be reserved by phoning Karen Wood on 01246 269300.

There are three stands for home fans. The Motan Colortronic (South) Stand is situated behind the goal and is usually the noisiest stand and the least suitable for young children.

The Van Yard (West) Stand is the main stand and is where the directors box and corporate seats are also found. The Karen Child Community (East) Stand is the third home stand.

The Harold Lilleker & Sons (North) Stand houses the away fans.

There are two areas of the ground specifically designed for families. One in the Karen Child Community (East) Stand and one in The Van Yard (West) Stand and the prices in these areas are lowered to attract families with young children.

A barcoded ticket must be purchased from the ticket office before gaining entry to the stadium through the automated turnstiles.

All seats are allocated and are clearly marked on the ticket.

For a full list of ticket prices, please click here.

The ticket office for home fans is located at the side of the Club Superstore in The Van Yard (West) Stand.

There is a separate ticket office for away fans behind the Rubicon north stand.

Tickets can be purchased online 24/7 by visiting our ticket sales website. Alternatively the ticket office at the ground is at the following times and Saturday when there is a home match from 9am until kick-off for the purchase of tickets. On Saturday when the team are playing away, the office is closed. Tickets can also be pre ordered over the phone using the ticket line 01246 269300. We advise buying tickets before the day of the game to save queuing.

For more information on matchday tickets, season tickets or queries relating to tickets please contact the ticket office manager on 01246 269300 ext 4114 or email: [email protected]

We also offer matchday hospitality which can be booked by phoning 01246 269300 ext 4153 or emailing: [email protected].

Our match day programme Inspire is available from the Club Superstore or from programme sellers around the perimeter of the ground.

Also, look out for 50/50 sellers on the concourses selling tickets at £1 each for a chance to win the top cash prize and other excellent prizes. The winning numbers are announced over the tannoy at half time.

The club’s mascot is Chester the Field Mouse – he can often be seen on matchdays in and around the stadium meeting our young supporters and loves having his photo taken so don’t be afraid to stop him and ask!

The concourses in the stands open at around 1.30pm for a 3pm kick off and at around 6.30pm for an evening kick off. They serve a selection of hot and cold snacks including a range of pies supplied by Jacksons, a local bakery. A range of hot and cold drinks are also available including Real Ale supplied by Brampton Brewery. All concourses have TVs showing Sky Sports before kick off and then ‘Soccer Saturday’ after the match, showing results from around the leagues.

Saturday games kick off at 3pm and midweek games kick off at 7.45pm unless otherwise stated on the website.

The Club Superstore is located in the front of The Van Yard (West) Stand, selling a wide range of merchandise from key rings to replica shirts and leisurewear. For cold winter days they stock a range of gloves, scarves, hats and coats to keep you warm. The Club Superstore opening hours are shown here.

If you arrive at the ground before the concourses open, we have the HUB at the rear of the stadium (behind the Karen Child Community (East) Stand) and in here you will find a café serving drinks and a range of snacks. Also in here we have a children’s soft play area called Chester’s Den where children can play safely for up to two hours while Mum and Dad have a coffee. Parents must supervise their children at all times. You may even see Chester having his pre-match meal!

We hope this information helps with your visit.
